Arise Services
Arise Services is proud to introduce the following Allied Health Services to NDIS participants.
Arise Allied Health Services team delivers therapeutic support to NDIS participants who require Occupational Therapist or a psychologist.
Our Allied health team can provide evidence, assessments, and reports that information access and planning decisions made by NDIA delegates (planners) under the NDIS Act.
Our Allied health team may be able to support the participants with the following:
- refer people to information about who can assist in NDIS WA
- provide supporting evidence as part of an access request, including evidence that the person has or is likely to have a permanent disability
- provide copies of reports or assessments that describe the extent of the functional impact of the disability.
Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapists will assist you to determine your capacity in undertaking activities of daily living, social and community participation, and other. Furthermore, we also assist you in finding ways to enhance your day-to-day life and social connectivity.
- We can help you make changes to your home so you can move around with greater ease and prescribe assistive technology or devices.
- We can offer support to engage with meaningful activities that matter to you the most.
Psychology
Psychologists will work with you to identify your individual therapeutic goals and needs and adapt them to the requirements of the NDIS. We can provide Assistant in NDIS WA of therapeutic support, development of daily living and life skills and behaviour support.
Under the NDIS we can develop plans that help address these NDIS criteria:
- Therapeutic Supports
- Individual, face-to-face counselling
- Development of Daily Living and Life Skills
- Help you develop personal skills and life skills that will increase your independence, participate in the community and social settings
- Help your carers in caring for you
- Behaviour Support
- Interventions to address behaviours of concern
- Training for carers and others in behaviour management strategies
